Kate Middleton Reveals Her Cancer Battle: Shocking Revelations About Her Health and Haunting Moments
In a new public letter, the Princess of Wales shared that she is making good progress in her treatment, but there are still days when she feels unwell.
Kate’s letter, published on June 14, is the first health update directly from her since she was diagnosed with cancer. “I have been overwhelmed by all the comforting and encouraging messages received over the past few months. They have truly made a world of difference for William and me, helping us get through difficult times,” the 42-year-old princess began.
“I am seeing significant improvements, but as anyone who has gone through chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days, you feel weak, tired, and have to give your body the rest it needs. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of those moments. On the days I feel well enough, I am delighted to be involved in my children’s school life, spend time on things that give me energy and positivity, and even start doing some small tasks at home,” Kate continued.
The Princess of Wales also attended the Trooping the Colour parade to celebrate King Charles III’s birthday on June 15. Additionally, she hopes to participate in a few events over the summer. However, the mother of three also mentioned that she has not yet fully recovered.
“I am learning to be patient, especially with unexpected situations. I take each day as it comes, listening to my body and giving myself the necessary time to heal. Thank you all so much for your understanding, and thank you to everyone who has bravely shared their stories with me,” Kate wrote at the end of her letter.
Although she will appear at Trooping the Colour, no specific date has been set for Kate’s full return to public duties. The Princess of Wales noted that her treatment is “ongoing and will continue for a few more months.”
Along with the letter, Kate also released a new photo of herself. In the photo, the 42-year-old princess is wearing jeans and a checked blazer, leaning back with arms crossed under a tree, looking up at the sky. Matt Porteous, who has taken many photos of the Wales family over the years, is the photographer behind Kate’s latest portrait.
